If you know me, you know that I LOVE LACE! For the sake of the bridal consultant, I tried on one non-lace dress and immediately took it off. I want to incorporate other lace details into our wedding. BUT, I have to remind myself not to go overboard. Here are some of the things that I love.
Lace design on wedding cakes
I like this design but it might be a bit much
I think that have alternating layers of lace design could be a bit more subdued but still give the effect I like.
I do not like this color contrast but I do like the damask pattern
Lace wrapped invitations
I plan to incorporate lace into the invitation some how. I'm not sure if I will wrap the whole invitation suite in lace like this one
Or have a liner envelope of lace
Or perhaps just have a small lace detail on the invite, maybe a lace patter letterpressed in?
Other lace details I love:
Lace table cloths and lace detailed plates
Lace edge detailing on the escort cards
I love these shoes!
Lace votive holders for table centerpieces
I think these are perfect - they combine two of my favorite things - lace and mason jars
Lace boxers for the honeymoon
Lace ring bearer pillow
Lace edged guest book
Ok, so these are doilies but I love the look of these with the lights running through them
Lace wrapped bouquet.
Now do you see what I mean about not going overboard with the lace. I'm really going to have to pick and choose what my favorite details are. I think I have an idea about what I will go with but I'm not going to reveal anything. What are your favorites?
