{2012} How Do You Measure A Year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife?

1 year
12 months
52 weeks
365 days
8760 hours
525600 minutes?

2012 has been a year full of changes and growth, setbacks and disappointments, accomplishments and successes.  It has been anything but what I expected it to be, in both good and not so good ways.  I am thankful for the trials because I have grown from them.  I am thankful for the many blessings.  I can honestly say I have grown more than I would have imagined and I am so much happier with who I am than I was at the beginning of the year.

My 2012 was measured by...

1 final semester of law school
1 graduation
30 pages of writing
1 trip to Pigeon Forge
3 trips to Tampa
87 blog posts
2 new jobs
1 new Etsy shop
21 maps created
2 foster pups
1 house all to my self
3 new bible study friends
6 new babies welcomed into the world
3 Florida State football games
2 NC State football games
12 new roller coasters braved
2 baptisms
1 trip to Kings Dominion
1 trip to Tallahassee
1 bar review course begun
1 car through 16 feet of fence
a little bit of snow
priceless hours spent with friends
too many memories to count
many ups and many downs
lots of puppy kisses
infinite love.

How do you measure your year?
